Caelum: a piece of heaven in Barcelona

There are places I prefer to go at certain times of the year and this, Caelum, always comes to my mind as autumn arrives. It might be because it is a warm perfect place to shelter from the cold, with its dimly light, coziness, cobbled walls and its French touch.

Caelum is a cafe-shop specializing in handmade treats made in monasteries and convents around Spain. Located in the Gothic area of El Call, it stands on former Jewish baths. If you decide to treat yourself and want to go to have a nice hot chocolate accompanied by some monastic delights then go down into the basement of this place, where you can do just that by candle light and surrounded by history.
